About Saintly Journeys

Who We Are

Saintly Journeys is a digital Catholic evangelization ministry dedicated to one simple mission: helping people encounter Jesus Christ and discover the life-changing relationship He offers.

Founded by Randy, a lay evangelist and Cursillista from Orlando Diocese, Saintly Journeys exists to answer the call of Matthew 28:19—"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations." We meet people where they are in the digital space and walk with them toward Christ.

Saintly Journeys is a lay-led Catholic evangelization ministry, independent of any diocese or parish, committed to faithful presentation of Catholic teaching and collaboration with the universal Church.

What We Believe

Everyone deserves to encounter Jesus. Not just hear about Him, but truly know Him. Too many people think Christianity is about rules and rituals when it's really about relationships. We exist to show you how to develop that relationship.

Faith is a journey, not a destination. Whether you're taking your first curious steps toward God or you've been walking with Him for decades, there's always further to go, deeper to dive, more of Christ to discover.

Come & See is the invitation. When Jesus' first disciples asked where He was staying, He didn't give them a theology lecture. He simply said, "Come and see" (John 1:39). That's our approach—welcoming, hospitable, genuinely curious about your questions, and confident in who we're inviting you to meet.

Catholic faith is for everyone. The 2,000-year treasure of Catholic wisdom, Scripture, prayer, and spiritual formation isn't just for insiders. It's God's gift to the world, and we make it accessible without watering it down.

What We Do

Weekly Content: Spiritual reflections, Scripture insights, and practical guidance for growing in faith, delivered primarily through email and online platforms.

Saintly Journeys Formation Center: Structured programs that teach you how to encounter Jesus in Scripture, develop authentic prayer, and grow in transformative faith. Our first program, Praying the Psalms, launches soon.

Digital Evangelization: Meeting seekers, returning Catholics, and growing disciples in the digital space where so many people are searching for meaning, purpose, and truth.

Who We Serve

Spiritual Seekers: You're curious about Jesus and exploring faith. You have questions, and you want honest guidance that respects where you are.

New to Faith: You've heard about Jesus but don't know where to start. You want to learn how to pray, read the Bible, and grow spiritually.

Catholics Wanting More: You go to Mass but sense there's something deeper. You're ready to move beyond obligation into a genuine relationship with Christ.

Returning to Faith: You grew up Catholic or Christian but drifted away. Now you're feeling drawn back and need help rediscovering faith in a meaningful way.

Anyone Seeking Jesus: You know there's more to life and faith. You're hungry for authentic spiritual growth and a real relationship with God.

Our Approach

Everything we do is grounded in Sacred Scripture and authentic Catholic teaching. We use ancient prayer methods, such as Lectio Divina—practices tested by Saints for centuries—to help you encounter the living God.

We believe in transparency. You'll always know how our content is created, including our collaborative use of AI tools in content development while maintaining theological accuracy and pastoral sensitivity.

Most importantly, we lead with hospitality. You're welcomed exactly as you are—with all your questions, doubts, and searching. There's no pressure, no judgment, no hidden agenda. Just an open invitation to come and see who Jesus is.

Why Digital Ministry?

The digital world isn't a replacement for the Church—it's a mission field. Millions of people are online right now searching for meaning, asking spiritual questions, longing for truth. They may never walk into a church building, but they'll click on a link, open an email, or watch a video.

Digital evangelization allows us to reach people we could never reach in person, at times when they're most open (3am questions, quiet Sunday mornings, moments of crisis or seeking). It's accessible Catholic formation available to anyone, anywhere, anytime.

This is the New Evangelization Pope John Paul II called for—reaching people in the modern world with the timeless Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Founder

Randy is a Catholic lay evangelist, husband, and stepfather living in The Villages, Florida. A convert to Catholicism for twenty years, and is an active member of the Cursillo movement.

Randy's formation includes training through the Word on Fire Institute and ongoing studies in spiritual direction at the Avila Institute. His background in Rochester, New York, and subsequent calling to digital ministry have shaped a unique approach: deeply Catholic, warmly hospitable, and accessible to all seekers.

Our Independence & Accountability

As a lay-led ministry, Saintly Journeys operates independently of any specific diocese or parish. This independence allows us to reach seekers across geographical boundaries and denominational backgrounds without institutional constraints.

However, independence doesn't mean isolation. We are committed to:

  • Faithful Catholic teaching: All content aligns with the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the Magisterium
  • Collaboration with the Church: We work in harmony with the mission of the universal Church
  • Theological accountability: Our teaching draws from Sacred Scripture, Church Fathers, Doctors of the Church, and trusted Catholic sources
  • Transparency: Clear about our methods, sources, and collaborative tools
  • Service to the Church's mission: Supporting, not replacing, parish life and sacramental participation

We encourage all Catholics engaged with our content to remain connected to their local parish, participate in the sacraments, and see Saintly Journeys as a complement to—never a substitute for—the full life of the Church.

Our Commitment to You

We will always point you to Jesus. Not to ourselves, not to human wisdom, but to Christ as He is revealed in Scripture and proclaimed by His Church.

We will walk with you. Your journey is unique. We won't rush you, pressure you, or judge you. We'll simply walk alongside, offering guidance when helpful and space when needed.

We will tell you the truth in love. Authentic Catholic teaching, presented clearly and charitably, without compromise but always with compassion.

We will keep learning and growing. This ministry isn't about having all the answers—it's about seeking God together and helping each other encounter Christ more deeply.

Join the Journey

Whether you're exploring faith for the first time or seeking to deepen a lifelong relationship with God, you're welcome here.

This is your invitation: Come and see what God has for you. Come and encounter Jesus. Come and discover the life He promises.
